Eyebrow Mania

Filmiholic writes:

Shahrukh Khan is himself, energetic and playful, with eyebrows like two tildes escaped from a Galdós novel.

(read the whole entry here)

I'm slightly relieved to see that I'm not the only one who feels the need to point these things out.

Filmiholic has a point!

Best. Eyebrows. Ever! I love SRK.

have you seen the "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" Trailer yet? No thats what I call SRK in best eyebrow mode..

If you haven´t. There are some versions of the one that was posted on the shahrukhkhan.og forum on youtube. Its not the best quality (just filmed with a phone from the cinema screen) but thats the only one on the web so far. Just go to www.youtube.com and search for KANK

The only Bollywood(ish) movie that ever made it to the cinema here was Monsoon Wedding, so trailers are never shown either :( which means I haven't seen the one for KANK yet, but I'll go look for it right now! Thanks for the tip :D

you won´t get the trailer in cinemas here anyway yet. its only being shown before fanaa so far. and i would move to slovenia right at this moment, if your cinemas already show fanaa....;-)

Nope, nothing to worry about there, Fanaa is definitely not coming to the cinemas here, no Bollywood movies ever do :( Do you get them in Austria?

I watched the Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna trailer, you were right, eyebrows galore! Fantastico :D And now I really want to see the movie, too.

there is a distributor in munich who sometimes brings bollywood movies for sinlge shows to vienna. i try to go there whatever movie he brings (usually the not so good ones)since the audience is mostly indian and its real good fun to watch a hindi movie with a hindi crowd. apart from that there is one local arthouse distributor who now cooperates with rapid eyemovies (who work with RTL2) and this summer they will show stuff like "rang de basanti" in their summer cinema. they also told me that "Krrish" the new Hrithik Roshan film will be played in one of our multipexes at the same time the movie releases in india.
so we have a little bit on hindi cinema but they could play much more for my taste

Oh, I really want to see Rang De Basanti! Maybe I should start going to the movies in Vienna ;)

I'm going to London for a week in August, I'm hoping to convince my friend to go see a Hindi movie with me, it'd be great to see one in the cinema. Maybe Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna will be showing already!
